About IFGTM 2015

International Forum on Green Technology and Management (IFGTM) is an annual event initiated by Consortium for Green Technology Management and Research. The consortium consists of eleven members: School of Environmental Science and Technology, Ha Noi University of Science and Technology (INEST-HUST);
Faculty of Environment and Natural Resources, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (FE-HCMUT); Faculty of Environment, Da Nang University of Technology (FE-DUT); Institute for Environmental Science and Engineering, National University of Civil Engineering (IESE-NUCE);
Institute of Environmental Technology, Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology (IET-VAST); College of Environment and Natural Resources, Can Tho University (CENRes-CTU); Department of Environmental Science, Hue University of Sciences (DES-HUSC); Institute of Resources and Environment, Hue University (IREN-HU); Department of Environmental Resources and Management, Chia-Nan University of Pharmacy and Science (ERM-CNU); Department of Environment and Resources, University of Thu Dau Mot (DER-UTDM) and Faculty of Biotechnology and Environmental Engineering, Ho Chi Minh City University of Food Industry (FBEE-HUFI). The IFGTM provide a platform for researchers and managers to share knowledge, experience and research results in various aspects of environment, with a focus on green technology and management. There have been so far four IFGTMs occurred: in Da Nang (2011), in Ho Chi Minh City (2012), in Ha Noi (2013) and in Can Tho (2014).

The 5th International Forum on Green Technology and Management (IFGTM 2015) is hosted by Hue University of Sciences and will be held in Hue City, from 28 to 30th July, 2015.

Call for Papers (PDF file)

We are pleased to invite you to participate in the 5th International Forum on Green Technology and Management (IFGTM 2015) which will be held in Hue city on July 28th to 30th 2015.

Abstract and full paper submission

An abstract (no more than 200 words) is required for screening by Scientific Committee. The abstract must be in English and should include title, names and affiliations of all authors, contact email of corresponding author; and key words.

Authors whose abstracts are accepted should submit manuscripts of maximum 8 pages for a reviewing process. Good papers will be published in a Special Issue of Journal of Science and Technology of Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology. Manuscripts must follow the journal guidelines which can be downloaded from the conference website.

Selected authors will be invited for oral presentations at the conference. The others will be invited for poster presentations.

Environmental pollution controlWith the theme “Green Environment for Sustainable Development”, IFGTM 2015 will cover a broad range of the following topics related to environmental engineering and management:

• Environmental pollution control

• Low-carbon technology and management
• Cleaner production and energy efficiency
• Renewable energy development and use
• Climate change adaptation and mitigation
• Integrated urban environmental management
• Sustainable resources management

• January 15th 2015: First announcement
• March 10th 2015: Abstract submission deadline
• March 30th 2015: Acceptance notification
• May 10th 2015: Full paper submission deadline
• June 15th 2015: Second announcement

Registration and fees

Registration

Participants are requested to perform online registration to the activities at conference. The registration form will be available on this website soon.

Invitation Letter

The Conference Organizing Committee will be pleased to send an invitation letter to any participant upon his/her request. It must be understood that these letters are only intended to help participants to obtain a visa or to raise travel funds and do not commit the conference organizers to any financial nor insurance obligations. To obtain the invitation letter, the participant should register to attend the conference in advance.

Publication fee and conference fee

Publication fee is applied for the authors whose abstracts are accepted for reviewing process. The fee is 35 USD or 750,000 VND per manuscript. This fee is used for publishing process, including payments for reviewers, editors and printing. The author should pay this fee at the same time of manuscript submission.

The conference fee, which will be collected at the registration desk, is 25 USD or 500,000 VND for each regular participant and 12.5 USD or 250,000 VND for each graduate student. The fee covers materials (abstract book, journal, etc.) at the conference and all activities during conference such as full attendance of sessions, cultural tour, technical tour, lunches, coffee-breaks, etc.
